Agreement Terms

  1. Purpose of Coaching
    The purpose of this coaching relationship is to support the client in exploring and changing their relationship with alcohol in a way that feels empowering, sustainable, and aligned with their personal goals. Coaching is a collaborative process focused on awareness, mindset shifts, and compassionate guidance.
  1. What Coaching Is (and Isn’t)
    • Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat any mental health conditions.
    • Coaching focuses on mindset shifts, education, and behavior change to help the client reduce or eliminate their desire for alcohol.
    • The client is responsible for their own choices and actions. The coach provides guidance, but outcomes depend on the client’s engagement and willingness to apply insights.
  1. Coaching Structure
    • Session Format: Weekly 60-minute sessions via Zoom
    • Duration: 4 Weeks
    • Support Between Sessions: [email protected] & WhatsApp
    • Rescheduling Policy: 4-hour notice required to reschedule
  1. Confidentiality (Two-Way Agreement)
    • All information shared in coaching sessions is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed by either party without mutual consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others).
    • The coach will keep all client discussions, progress, and personal details confidential.
    • The client also agrees to respect the coach’s privacy and not share session recordings, materials, or personal information about the coach without explicit consent.
    • In group coaching settings, all participants must agree to maintain confidentiality regarding what is shared by others.
  1. Fees & Payment
    • Payment Terms: Upfront
    • Refund Policy: If after first session client is unhappy a full refund is available.
  1. Client Responsibilities
    • Approach coaching with an open mind and willingness to explore beliefs about alcohol.
    • Take personal responsibility for applying insights and strategies discussed in sessions.
    • Communicate openly with the coach about challenges, progress, and any concerns.
    • Respect the confidentiality of the coaching relationship.
  1. Coach Responsibilities
    • Provide a judgment-free, supportive environment that fosters self-awareness and sustainable change.
    • Offer education, tools, and guidance tailored to the client’s needs.
    • Maintain professional integrity and respect the client’s personal journey.
    • Protect the confidentiality of the client’s information.
  1. Termination of Agreement
    • Either party may terminate coaching with one week's written notice.
    • Coaching will not continue if the coach determines that therapy or another form of support would be more appropriate for the client’s needs.
